Through March 17, our very own Terry Kerkstra will be representing Control Dynamics Inc. at the Michigan Rural Water Association’s annual conference, enjoying the natural beauty of Traverse City and the accommodations at the Grand Traverse Resort!

Terry Kerkstra is a highly experienced pump specialist and master electrician, having provided his valuable skills on several successful projects for us. Terry will on hand at the CDI booth (Booth 15) to demonstrate the technology we use to solve industry application issues revolving around water handling in rural municipal systems.

The annual event targets city council members, DPW superintendents, water or wastewater operations to convey all the latest regulatory, technical and managerial issues facing the rural water industry. Topics presented include how to set up an asset management maintenance program, energy efficiency and OSHA compliance, with special sessions conducted by the USDA, MDEQ and Miss Dig.

The event offers over 65 exhibitors and a packed schedule of informational sessions and networking opportunities. It’s not all business though! One of the most exciting portions of the event is the Water Taste Test! Attendees can enter their utility’s water to be judged by taste, clarity and odor. Winner gets the chance to compete nationally which includes an expenses paid trip to Washington DC to compete in the National Drinking Water Contest.
